Running Back Rankings: Who Will Lead RBs in Fantasy Football Week 6?

Fact Checked by Thomas Leary

As Week 6 of the NFL season unfolds, distinct names are rapidly climbing the fantasy football rankings. BetOhio.com โ€” your source for Ohio sports betting โ€” releases hypothetical odds on which RB will lead the league in fantasy points (standard PPR) this week. Here is the lay of the land for the week:

McCaffrey Again Worth A Look

This yearโ€™s top performer, 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey, again makes an appearance on our rankings despite a somewhat quiet night against the Cowboys in Week 5. Luckily for McCaffrey, the 49ers throttled Dallas on "Sunday Night Football," as the running back by no means had to carry the team like other weeks. This Sunday, the 49ers will travel to Cleveland to face the Browns and their Jim Schwartz-led defense, which has had a couple of strong performances this season. Over at BetMGM Ohio the 49ers are heavy favorites at -225. We give McCaffrey +650 odds to be the highest scoring fantasy back this week, behind the Jaguars' Travis Etienne and Cowboys' Tony Pollard.

Keep tabs on BetOhio.com not just for fantasy updates but also the Browns playoff chances tracker.

Etienne, Pollard Two To Watch

The Jaguars' Etienne tops our oddsboard this week, at +450 to be the top scorer as the Jags welcome the Colts to Jacksonville. Etienne, the 24-year-old out of Clemson, had a massive weekend across the pond in Week 5. With the Jags facing a 3-1 Buffalo Bills team, Etienne put the offense on his back and rushed for 136 yards and two touchdowns, plus another 48 yards through the air. He was the biggest reason the Jags won 25-20 to move into a tie for first place in the AFC South.

Pollard (+575) and the Cowboys travel to Los Angeles to face the Chargers, where both the back and entire offense will look to bounce back after a brutal loss to the 49ers in Week 5. Pollard was stifled by the Steve Wilks-led 49ers defense, totaling only 29 yards on 8 carries in the blowout loss. We like America's Team to get back on track against a 2-2 Chargers team whose defense is giving up an average of 26 points per game.
