A year after suffering a devastating Achilles’ heel injury on his fourth play of the New York Jets’ season opener in 2023, it looks like Aaron Rodgers is back to his old ways in the Big Apple. The 40-year-old signal-caller has seen the biggest glow-up in fantasy football ranking of any NFL QB in 2024.

You can grab Rodgers to win the NFL MVP award at +2000 at bet365 Sportsbook Ohio, putting the veteran in eighth place between Jared Goff of the Detroit Lions (+1800) and Tua Tagovailoa of the Miami Dolphins (+2500).

BetOhio.com wanted to see what quarterbacks had the greatest jumps in rankings between the end of the 2023-24 season and the 2024 preseason. We found the 2024 preseason rankings at FantasyPros.com, then compared those to the 2023 season fantasy rankings at FFToday.com. You can follow Cincinnati Bengals playoff chances all season as one of the QBs on our list, Joe Burrow, tries to regain form after an injury ended his campaign last year after 10 games.

When it comes to the sheer climb in fantasy football ranking between the end of the 2023 NFL league year and the start of the 2024 season, no QB in the league has seen a bigger jump than Rodgers. He went from being the 76th-ranked player at that position to the 20th spot this year.

That 56-spot jump Rodgers ahead of Indianapolis Colts’ second-year QB Anthony Richardson, who has seen his ranking soar by 36 spots from No. 44 to No. 6 in the NFL. Sam Darnold of the Minnesota Vikings finished third, going from 53 to 28 after rookie J.J. McCarthy went down with a torn right meniscus, ending his season before it began.

Browns Have Two QBs in Top 10

The Browns are the only team with two quarterbacks rising that quickly up fantasy draft boards, Jameis Winston (tied for fifth, gaining 20 spots) and starter Deshaun Watson (ninth, up 16 spots). Catch Cleveland Browns playoff chances all season as the two veteran QBs try to spark a return trip to the postseason in the 2024-25 NFL campaign.

Throw in Jacoby Brissett of the New England Patriots (up 22 spots), Arizona Cardinals’ mainstay Kyler Murray (up 20) and you have the full top five in the NFL when it comes to fantasy movers at the quarterback position.

Among the other names that dot the latter half of the list are Daniel Jones of the New York Giants (up 18 spots), and Washington Commanders backup Marcus Mariota (up 15).
