2025 Cleveland Browns Manager and Head Coach
- General manager: Andrew Berry
- Head coach: Kevin Stefanski
- Coach record: 41-46 (.471)
General manager Andrew Berry and coach Kevin Stefanski were both hired into their current roles prior to the 2020 season and are entering their sixth season working in tandem. Berry and Stefanski led the Browns to the playoffs in their first season together; the Browns went 11-5 in 2020 and even won their first playoff game since 1994. Unfortunately, the last few seasons have not gone as smoothly; the Browns finished with a 3-14 record in 2024.
2025 Cleveland Browns Offense
QB Deshaun Watson suffered a season-ending injury in Week 7 of 2024 and then re-ruptured his Achilles tendon in January 2025, ruling him out for the entire next season. To fill the gap, the Browns brought in Joe Flacco and drafted Shedeur Sanders and Dillon Gabriel.
At tight end, David Njoku has been a reliable weapon, posting 882 yards and six touchdowns in 2023. Though his 2024 numbers dipped to 505 yards and five TDs, he remains a key part of the passing attack. Wide receiver Jerry Jeudy is another primary receiving threat. On the ground, the Browns could lean on rookie running backs Quinshon Judkins and Dylan Sampson to energize their rushing game.
2025 Cleveland Browns Defense
Browns All-Pro edge rusher Myles Garrett is one of the NFLโs biggest defensive stars. He won Defensive Player of the Year in 2023 and finished the 2024 season with 14 sacks, second-most in the league. The Browns locked him in with a four-year extension and added more talent, including Mason Graham. The cornerback group, led by Denzel Ward, is also solid. With these pieces, Cleveland has the potential to be one of the leagueโs top defenses.
Cleveland Browns FAQs
After re-rupturing his Achilles tendon in January 2025, Deshaun Watson will miss the entire 2025 season. The Browns signed quarterbacks Joe Flacco and drafted Shedeur Sanders and Dillon Gabriel. Flacco has been named the starting quarterback for Week 1.
The voice of the Browns was Jim Donovan, who had been the voice of the Cleveland Browns on WKYC Channel 3 and the radio since 1999. Donovan passed away in October 2024, and Andrew Siciliano took over as he new play-by-play announcer for Cleveland.
Brownie the Elf goes way back to the early days of the Browns and is a throwback to the teamโs original logo from the 1940s. Chomps, the oversized dog mascot, was introduced in 2018 to bring extra energy to the sidelines. SJ is the newest addition, a real 125-pound dog.
The Brownsโ biggest name right now is defensive end Myles Garrett, who recently signed a four-year contract extension. Other fan favorites include wide receiver Jerry Jeudy and tight end David Njoku. With Joe Flacco named Week 1 starter, the QB1 spot could also make him a household name in Cleveland, depending on his performance this season.
The Cleveland Browns wrapped up the 2024-25 season with a 3-14 record, finishing last in the AFC North. As the 2025-26 season approaches, they enter with the longest odds to win the division. The Ravens have the best odds to win the AFC North.
Jimmy and Dee Haslam have owned the Browns since 2012. Under their ownership, the team has undergone several coaching changes and roster rebuilds as they work to return to playoff contention. The Haslams remain committed to building a winning culture in Cleveland.
Most Browns games air on WOIO-TV CBS 19 in Cleveland, with some also broadcast on FOX, CBS, NBC, ESPN, and Prime Video throughout the 2025 season. For streaming, you can watch on platforms like Paramount+, Fox Sports, NBC Sports, ESPN+, and Amazon Prime Video.
No, the Browns have never won a Super Bowl, or even played in one. Theyโre one of just four NFL teams without a Super Bowl appearance. Heading into the season, the Browns remain long shots to win Super Bowl 60.
