Ohio Horse Racing Fans Geared Up for Kentucky Derby
Fact Checked by Pat McLoone

With the 149th running of the Kentucky Derby a day away at Churchill Downs in the neighboring state of Kentucky, it is an exciting weekend for Ohio sports betting.

Some Ohioans have made the trip over the border to celebrate Derby Week, while others will be staying home to wager at any of the state's eight racetracks.

This year, for the first time, resident of the state can go on Ohio sportsbook apps to wager on the Reds or Guardians, or maybe the NBA or NHL playoffs, while they wait for post time.
