Fact Checked by Pat McLoone

The big day is almost here as the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs are set to meet Sunday in Super Bowl LVII at Glendale, Ariz. (FOX, 6:30 p.m.).

Currently at DraftKings Ohio Sportsbook, the Chiefs are 1.5-point underdogs (+105 on the moneyline) to the NFC-champion Eagles (-125 on the moneyline). The total over-under is at 51 points.

Of course, the Super Bowl brings out a unique barrage of props for sports bettors. BetOhio.com, your home for Ohio sportsbook promo codes, circulated some of the available shops in the Buckeye State to see what was available.

FanDuel on Opening Drive Wagers

FanDuel Ohio Sportsbook is offering its edition of the popular “Super Bowl squares” for customers for the final score, first-half score and first-quarter score of the Super Bowl.

FanDuel Sportsbook is also offering first-drive parlays of the game, in which bettors can predict the outcome of each team’s first possession. For example, Philadelphia/Kansas City punt (+330), Philadelphia touchdown/ Kansas City punt (+650), Philadelphia punt/Kansas City touchdown (+700), Philadelphia field goal/Kansas City punt (+1000), among others.

Caesars Has Cross-Sports Bets

Caesars Ohio Sportsbook is promoting its same-game parlays. The Eagles are averaging 200-plus rushing yards per game in the playoffs. If you think that trend continues against Kansas City, Caesars has a same-game parlay of Jalen Hurts over 50.5 rushing yards, Miles Sanders over 61.5 rushing yards and Isiah Pacheco (Chiefs) over 47.5 rushing yards that pays +700.

Caesars also has daily cross-sport flash boosts on the Super Bowl. As of Friday, their boosts include: Devonta Smith over 3.5 receptions and James Harden over 3.5 made three-pointers (in Feb. 10 game) for +300.

The Chiefs to score exactly 20 points is also boosted to +1200.

DraftKings Has Several Novelty Props

The two quarterbacks – Philadelphia’s Jalen Hurts and Kansas City’s Patrick Mahomes – are the favorites to be named the Super Bowl’s Most Valuable Player.

On DraftKings Ohio Sportsbook, you can bet the position of the MVP, with quarterback as a heavy favorite (-650). Wide receiver (+650) and tight end (+900) round out the Top 3. A kicker, punter or long-snapper has the longest odds at +15000.

In DraftKings’ Super Bowl novelty props section, you can bet the over-under of the first and last touchdown scorer’s number (11.5), plus the over-under of the combined jersey numbers of all touchdown scorers (160.5).

Will Philadelphia’s Jake Elliott or Kansas City’s Harrison Butker hit the upright or crossbar on a field goal or extra point? The yes is +450 on DraftKings (the no is -650).

Betfred ‘Double Your Win’

Betfred Ohio Sportsbook, the official sports betting partner of the Cincinnati Bengals, features a “Double Your Win” promotion if a bettor correctly picks a first-touchdown scorer and that player finds the end zone a second time.

You also can bet on the highest-scoring quarter of the Super Bowl. The current odds are: first quarter (+175), second quarter (+180), third quarter (+600) and fourth quarter (+700).

Any quarter to end scoreless is +370 on the Betfred mobile app (-600 for the no) and both teams to make a field goal of 33 yards or longer is -110 for both the yes and no.
